Short-Term Discussion: Some isolated showers are breaking out to our north and west. We may see some of these showers later this afternoon. Air-quality readings are currently poised on the good/moderate threshold. More humid air will arrive tomorrow as southerly flow becomes established. Showers and possibly heavy rain are likely by Sunday and may linger into Monday.

Some isolated showers early then clearing skies overnight with some isolated areas of fog by morning and temperatures falling into the mid 50s. Becoming partly sunny and more humid on Saturday with increasing clouds in the afternoon and temperatures expected to reach the mid 80s. There is a slight chance some spots will have an afternoon shower or possibly a rumble of thunder. Saturday’s ozone and fine-particulate concentrations should both reach the code YELLOW (moderate) range.

Cloudy with showers and areas of fog developing overnight with temperatures expected to fall into the mid 60s. Mostly cloudy with rain and an isolated thunderstorm in some spots; afternoon temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees. Rain could be heavy at times possibly causing some localized flooding. Clouds and showers should keep Sunday’s ozone concentrations in the code GREEN (good) range while generally humid condition may help fine-particulate concentrations linger in the low code YELLOW (moderate) range in parts of the forecast area.

Mostly cloudy overnight with some showers and areas of fog with temperatures falling into the mid 60s. Remaining mostly cloudy on Monday with showers and possibly some isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures may work their way towards the 80 degree mark. Clouds and showers should keep ozone concentrations in the code GREEN (good) range. High humidity levels and light winds should allow fine-particulate concentrations to remain in the code YELLOW (moderate) range.

Extended: We should see some clearing skies by Tuesday with temperatures rebounding back into the 80s. The models paint a rather subdued pattern for most of next week with temperatures near where they should be for this time of year. We expect next week’s air-quality readings to remain mainly in the moderate range.
